M2-PK: a target of different oncoproteins (oncogenes)

Pyruvate kinase type M2 (M2-PK, PKM2) is a target of different oncoproteins with totally different physiological functions:

• M2-PK : a target of the pp60v-src kinase
• M2-PK: a target of the HPV-16 E7 oncoprotein
• M2-PK: a target of HERC1
• M2-PK: a target of the A-Raf kinase
• Pyruvate Kinase isoenzymes : M2-PK
